Donations
We are very grateful to those devotees who have continued their sponsorship of festivals and other services offered by the temple even during the lock-down. We are also thankful to devotees who made spontaneous donations during the lock-down period. While this helped to reduce the impact, it was the cancellation of fund raising events such as food parcels that have had the greatest negative impact on our finances.
It is our aim that we do everything possible to avoid further borrowing from the bank to bridge this gap as it increases the financial risk. To this end many well meaning members and devotees have suggested that we make a special appeal to our Temple community for their support to get through this difficult period. After much thinking and deliberations, we have decided to make a One-Off Appeal for Funds towards bridging this deficit. As it is a donation, it is entirely up to you as to the amount of donation you wish to make.
Instead of one-off donations, some devotees may prefer making regular contribution through automatic payment. This will certainly help our mortgage payments and would be welcomed with gratitude as well. As you would be aware, all donations to our temple are eligible for tax credit.

Community hall hire rates

– Hire agreement must be signed for all hire events.
– Users are responsible for purchasing flowers, garlands, coconuts, other consumable, cleaning items etc.
– Hall must be cleaned and rubbish removed from the hall after the function. Bagged rubbish can be put inside the waste collection bin outside the hall.
– No cooking is allowed inside the hall or the hall kitchen. Temple kitchen cannot be used for heating of any food.
– Only vegetarian food is allowed to be served. Users should provide plates, cups etc.
– Hall will be available during weekends and public holidays when there is no temple function planned. For hire requirements other than these days contact temple office or as below.
– Alcohol is not allowed into the temple premises.
– Political or other religious meetings are not allowed.
